Prepared and graded two six hour exams for the Accreditation Council for Accountancy, 1979.  These were national exams taken by public accountants and community college graduates to become accredited as Public Accountants.

GRANTS RECEIVED
Received Curriculum Development Grant from IWU to develop a one semester introductory accounting course that combines financial and managerial accounting, 1999.

Recipient of a $12,000 Curriculum Innovation Grant from the Illinois CPA Foundation for a project co-authored with David Willis to develop an accounting curriculum that integrates Auditing, Intermediate Accounting, and Cost Accounting, 1996.

Recipient of Artistic and Scholarly Development grant from IWU to study business conditions in Southeast Asia, 1996.

Recipient of a research grant from the Illinois CPA Foundation for a research project co-authored with Dr. Jack Fields.  The title of the project was "Accounting Programs at Small Liberal Arts Colleges: Strengths and Challenges", 1991.
