Anfernee Roberts '16

 

Anfernee graduated from Illinois Wesleyan in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. While a student at the university Anfernee participated on the Men’s Varsity football team for all four years, was a member of the Black Student Union, and worked in the Office of Student Activities. He praises Wesleyan for providing him plenty of professional and athletic opportunities. One of his key highlights includes visiting Sweden and playing a game of “American” football in Finland as a part of the Varsity team. Currently, along with being an admissions counselor, he works as an assistant football coach at a local high school, is a referee for youth basketball throughout the Midwest. Anfernee is also pursuing a master’s degree in Psychology & Physiology of Sport & Physical Activity at Illinois State University. In his free time Anfernee enjoys sleeping, studying football, and playing pickup basketball, flag football, and video games.
