Late Night Hansen
Events like JM-7, Fall Fest, and the band Swear and Shake are all examples of late night activities offered to students by the Office of Student Activities. This gives students the opportunity to escape their hectic schedules and enjoy some food and entertainment. Late night activities are also a great way for students to interact with one another. Recently, IWU OSA held Fall Fest. Students painted pumpkins, made s’mores, ate some pumpkin pie, and were able to relax after a stressful day of classes. Over 250 students attended this event, reinforcing our confidence in these programs.
Student Programmers get the opportunity to plan these events and brainstorm for future late night activities. Programmers have been brainstorming more innovative late night activities. Some ideas include: bringing canines to campus on Reading Day, introducing late night game shows, and even having cooking demonstrations. This is all with the goal of integrating IWU’s already diverse campus into a more unified student body. These programs are targeted towards any and every type of student and the programmers welcome new suggestions!
These events are usually held once a month, so be on the lookout for upcoming activities! Hope to see you there!
