Knitting circles are cropping up on campuses and in coffee shops, yarn stores and homes across the country. Beyond the opportunity to get together and knit
the groups serve as a kind of therapy that helps [members] think through their problems and relieve stress.

| Whether you knit or knot, you are welcome to the IWU knitting circle that meets each Friday over the noon hour in the Hansen Student Center. Knit happens and this group is sheeper than therapy! All IWU faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend, regardless of skill level. Our resident knitting guru Susan Anderson-Freed will be on hand to assist beginners and inspire projects. Participants are encouraged to bring their own projects and supplies. Knitting is not required participants can bring any kind of stitchery or just come and enjoy the conversation!
