Ergonomics 101.......with Wellness Director, Missy Smock

Have you discovered after typing on your laptop for a period of time a dull aching pain in your hands, wrist, and/or forearm? Have you discovered after reaching for your mouse up on your desktop that your shoulder has started to hurt? Well laptops are not ergonomically friendly and reaching for the mouse for extended periods of time increases your risk for injury. So the resulting pain is no surprise
Learn how you can create neutral posture with regard to your keyboard, monitor, chair, and surrounding work environment, so that you can minimize muscular fatigue and decrease your risk for injury. Take away some simple ideas on how to dreat a user friendly work area that has the potential to be pain free!
