The male a cappella group, Suspended, began 7 years ago on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University. It is entirely student-run and managed. Suspended maintains an active rehearsal and performance schedule throughout the year. They continue to be in demand to perform at local venues and at alumni and school-sponsored activities. In 2007, the group was chosen to represent Bloomington by visiting the Bloomington-Normal sister city, Asaikawa, Japan. Each year they also conduct a performance tour at many Illinois high schools.
