Internet Resources

As with all internet sites, when deciding to use the information weigh your sources carefully. Does the site look reputable? What are the qualifications of the web site's author? Who produces the web site? Are there ads on the web site? How might they affect the information? What kind of other web sites is this one linked to? What material does it cite to back up its information? Is it a primary or secondary source? What is the tone of the web site? Is it formal or informal? How does that effect the credibility of the web site? I have not looked at all of these in-depth, but have tried to review some of the following web sites.

Remember** -articles in academic journals (in the library or e-journals) are refereed. This means that each article is read by one or more experts in the field before it is accepted for publication. This hightens the credibility of these articles as they have been approved by their qualified peers.
