Beef Over Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef stew meet (cut into small pieces)
  • 1 small onion chopped fine
  • 1/4 cup salad oil
  • tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 green pepper chopped
  • Directions

    1. Brown meat and onion in oil in heavy skillet
    2. Season with salt and pepper and add 1/2 cup of water
    3. Cover and simmer about 1 hour
    4. Add soup blended with other 1/2 of water and green pepper
    5. Simmer 30 mins longer
    6. Serve over rice
