Easy Party Dip
Ingredients
Refried Beans 1 can
Sour Cream 1 container
Avocado Dip or Guacamole 1 container
Cheddar Cheese, Finely Grated 1 bag
Cherry Tomatoes (optional) 8-12
Black Olives (optional) 1 small can
Green Olives (optional) 1 small jar
Tortilla Chips 1 bag
 
Materials Needed
13x9 platter or baking dish
Tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Spread the refried beans in an even layer between 1/4" and 3/8" thick on the platter or on the bottom of the baking dish. You might not use the entire can.
  2. Refrigerate the platter for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Spread the avocado dip or guacamole in an even layer between 1/4" and 3/8" thick on top of the refried beans. You might not use the entire container. If it is difficult to spread the guacamole, refrigerate the platter for a little longer.
  4. Refrigerate again for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Spread the sour cream in an even layer between 1/4" and 3/8" thick on top of the guacamole. You might not use the entire container. If it is difficult to spread the sour cream, refrigerate the platter for a little longer.
  6. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top of the sour cream so that the sour cream just barely shows through. Press the cheese into the sour cream lightly.
  7. Garnish with tomatoes, black olives, and/or green olives around the edges. Serve with tortilla chips.
