Peanut Butter French Toast
My boyfriend made me this recipe for dinner over the summer. The recipe is
delicious and can be used for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or as a snack!
It's really easy and perfect for college students!
Ingredients:
- Four slices of french toast (either make your own or buy the frozen kind!)
- Creamy peanut butter
- Maple Syrup
- Any toppings of your choice (optional): Chocolate chips, cinnamon, powdered sugar, etc.
Directions:
- Either make your own french toast and let it cool a little or defrost the
pre-made and frozen french toast that you can buy at your grocery store.
- Spread the desired amount of peanut butter on one of the french toast slices.
Place the other slice on top to make a sandwich. Place the sandwich on a microwavable
plate and cut it into about 16 bite size pieces.
- Microwave the sandwich until it is toasty warm.
- Drown that sandwich in maples syrup and cover in your desired toppings.
- It goes down really well with a tall glass of milk!
