About MPSA
The Midwest Political Science Association (MPSA) is an international organization with a membership of more than three thousand political science professors and students and public administrators representing more than 80 countries. Founded in 1939, the MPSA is dedicated to the advancement of scholarship in all areas of political science.
In April of each year, the MPSA holds one of the largest political science conferences, with more than 4,000 presenters from throughout the United States and around the world. Traditionally, the national conference is held in Chicago at the historic Palmer House Hotel. In 2008, the conference will occur from April 3 to 6.
The MPSA publishes the American Journal of Political Science, a premier journal for research in all major areas of political science.
