Ashley Wiser is serving as an assistant coach for men's and women's track in 2003.
A Delavan (Ill.) High School product, Wiser lettered at North Central College for four years in track and two years in cross country. She was the 2001 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin indoor pole vault champion, was two-times all-CCIW in the shot put, and provisionally qualified for the national meet four times.
With a degree in exercise science from North Central, Wiser is pursuing a master's degree in exercise physiology at Illinois State Univerity.

A native of Rockford, Ill., Marchan Adkins enters his second season as assistant coach at Illinois Wesleyan. Adkins provides instruction to sprinters and hurdlers After graduating from Rockford East High School, Marchan went on to compete on the elite All-Army Track & Field team from 1986-1991 as a sprinter and triple jumper. Adkins has traveled much of the world while competing in the sport. Of his personal bests, are 46.08 FAT in the 400m Dash and 51'10.25" in the triple jump. A severe ankle injury in the summer of 1991 and subsequent surgery in March 1993 ended Adkins' competitive career. Marchan has coached several successful teams in Southern Pines, N.C., Heidelberg, Germany, and Bloomington, Ill. While serving as sprint coach at Bloomington High School, his relay teams posted Pantagraph area bests in the 4X100, 4X200, 4X400, and 800 Sprint Medley relays. Adkins holds a B.S. in Computer Science and minor in economics from Illinois State University.
 

Brent "Whitey" Whitecotton enters his second season in 2001-02 as the distance coach for the Titans. Brent was a standout distance runner for Normal Community High School in 1988 and 1989. During his first season he guided all the distance runners to personal bests.
