Seniors Jason Dennis (Prophetstown HS) and Karle Koritz (Clinton HS) and junior Muneerah Maalik (Chicago, Hyde Park Academy) earned All-America honors at the NCAA Division III Indoor National meet at Ohio Northern last weekend.

 Dennis threw the shot 55 feet, 2 3/4 inches to place second nationally while Koritzâ time of 7.55 was good for fourth in the 55 meter hurdles. Maalik placed fifth in the womenâs 55 meter dash with a time of 7.28.

 An athlete must earn a top six finish to be named an All-American.

 IWU junior Harold Gauthier (Lynwood, Thornton Fractional South HS) had an eighth place finish in the triple jump with a leap of 47 feet, 9 inches, and junior Martez Clark (Frankfort, Lincoln-Way HS) was ninth in the long jump with his mark of 22 feet.

 The Titansâ menâs team placed ninth with 12 total points.
