Freshman Kathy Carroll (Orland Park, Sandburg HS) was honorable mention All-American in the 500 freestyle and 400 individual medley at last weekendâs NCAA Division III swim meet at Miami (Ohio). She finished 14th in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:41.11 and swam a school-record time of 4:38.98 in the prelims. She was 16th [of 44] with a 5:09.18 in the 500 freestyle and she also placed 19th in the 1650 freestyle at the national meet with a time of 17:51.71.
