Hamblin Repeats as All-Region Choice

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — For the second straight season, Illinois Wesleyan University senior Tiffany Hamblin has been named to the 12-member all-Midwest Region volleyball team for Division III schools, as chosen by member coaches of the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Hamblin, a setter from Bloomington (HS), was named earlier to the first team of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin all-star squad for the third straight season. She was the Titans' team leader the past three seasons in service aces and digs and has led the team all four years in set assists, amassing a school-record 1,450 assists last season.

Hamblin already holds the IWU career record with 5,307 set assists, eclipsing the old standard of 3,442 set by Loni Mitchell from 1986-89. Hamblin is No. 1 in career digs with 1,840, and service aces with 240, and No. 9 with 236 career blocks
