The Illinois Wesleyan women's golf team hosts the 26-team Lady Titan
Invitational this Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 21-22) at Normal's Ironwood
Golf Course. There will be a shotgun start at 8 a.m. each day as 130 players

In addition to IWU, which finished 10th in last year's NCAA Division
III national tournament, three other teams that finished in the top 10
will also be playing at Ironwood this weekend - DePauw (fourth place),
Rhodes (fifth place), and Wisconsin-Eau Claire (seventh place).
In addition, sophomore Lynn Thompson of Thomas More College will participate
with her team. Thompson was the NCAA Division III individual national
champion last spring.
The Titans, coached by Kathy Niepagen, will field two teams:
Team A:
Stephanie Morton
Gail Nelson
Ashley Higginson
Catherine Briggs
Paige Lewis
Team B:
Erin Williams
Stacy Kolegas
Megan Teschner
Katie Campbell
Amanda McCain
On Saturday, IWU's Gail Nelson will be playing in the same foursome
as her sister, Kim Nelson, a freshman who is playing for Illinois College.
