IWU's Reed CCIW Soccer "Player of Week"

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. ? Illinois Wesleyan University's Christine Reed has been named "Player of the Week" for women's soccer in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin.

Reed, a sophomore midfielder from Crystal Lake (South HS), scored three goals with an assist in the Titans' season-opening 8-0 win over Marian on Sept. 1, then she added three more goals in a 7-0 win at Wisconsin-Whitewater on Sept. 2.

Last season Reed was co-winner of the team’s "Most Valuable Offensive Player" award as she set a school single-game record with five assists vs. Augustana and a season record with 16 assists. She was second on the team with 34 total points, a number that places her No. 8 all-time in women's soccer scoring at IWU.
