BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Illinois Wesleyan junior Adam Dauksas was named to the first team and junior Keelan Amelianovich is a repeat choice for the second team of the Division III All-American squads selected by D3hoops.com. Both were earlier named to the D3hoops.com all-Midwest Region first team.

Dauksas, a 6-foot-3 guard from Flossmoor (Homewood-Flossmoor HS), was a second team D3hoops.com all-region selection a year ago. This year he was the “Most Outstanding Player” in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin and a first team all-CCIW selection as he averaged 15.1 points and 5.6 assists in leading IWU to a 21-5 season.

Dauksas was the team’s leading scorer in seven games and his 145 assists is the fifth highest total in an IWU single season.

After three seasons Dauksas is No. 4 at the school with 380 career assists and is No. 34 with 1,040 points. His 135 career 3-pointers is tied for sixth and his 277 made free throws is 15th.

His .793 free throw percentage (277-of-349) makes him No. 7 among IWU players with 250 or made in a career.

Amelianovich, a 6-foot-6 forward from Naperville (Neuqua Valley HS), is a two-time D3hoops.com all-region selection. A first team all-CCIW selection this year, he averaged a team-high 17.9 points per game and led IWU in scoring in 13 games. He scored in double figures in 24 of 26 games.

He is No. 4 at IWU with 155 3-point field goals and his 994 points makes him No. 37 among Titan career scorers.

The pair become the seventh and eighth D3hoops.com All-American selections since the service began in 1997. Along with Amelianovich's second team nod last year, IWU's Korey Coon was a first team D3hoops.com All-American in 2000 after being on the second team in 1999.
