IWU Ticket Information
for Final Four AppearanceBLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Tickets for Illinois Wesleyan's appearance in the championship round of the NCAA Division III men's basketball tournament will be available beginning at noon Tuesday.
The 23-6 Titans, making their third Division III final four appearance in the last six years, play William Paterson (24-4) at 7 p.m. Central time at the Salem (Va.) Civic Center in the night's second semifinal game. The first semifinal pits Catholic University (26-5) against Ohio Northern (26-2).
Tickets
IWU faculty, staff and students will be able to purchase tickets at the Shirk Center on Tuesday beginning at 12 noon with tickets on sale for the general public at 1 p.m. An ID card is required for faculty, staff, and student purchases and there is a limit of four tickets per person.
Tickets, which are for all four games played in Salem this weekend, are $17.50 for adults and college students and are $10 for those high school and younger.
"The tickets we are selling at the Shirk Center are all in a section designated for IWU fans," said athletic director and basketball coach Dennie Bridges. "We have a good supply of tickets, so people should have no trouble getting them for the games in Salem."
In the unlikely event the IWU ticket supply is exhausted locally, fans may still purchase tickets by phoning the Salem Civic Center at (540) 375-3004 or at the door the day of the game. The only difference would be the proximity to the IWU cheering section.
The third-place game on Saturday will be at 1:30 p.m. Central , followed by the championship game at 4 p.m.
Bus, Hotel, Air Information
Illinois Wesleyan is also organizing bus transportation to Salem for fans. The cost of the bus trip, including game tickets, is $110 for adults and $100 for those high school age and under.
