Titans' Elisa Ettner Named to All-Conference Squads

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Illinois Wesleyan University junior Elisa Ettner was chosen to the second team of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin women's basketball all-star squad in voting by league coaches Tuesday in Wheaton.

Ettner, a 5-foot-7 guard from Marengo (HS), finished third in the league with 3.0 assists per game and was second in the league with a 1.02 assist/turnover ratio. She ranked seventh with a .300 3-point field goal percentage, while her 1.07 3-pointers per game was eighth best and she was 12th in the CCIW with a 9.7 scoring average.

The Titans finished the season tied for third in the league with an 8-6 mark and were 14-11 overall. With 14 wins, IWU had a winning season for the second straight year and for the ninth time in the last 10 years and for the second straight year.

Millikin's Kristin Kwasny, who led the CCIW in scoring and was third in rebounding and field goal percentage, was the league's "Most Outstanding Player" while Beth Baker of Wheaton and Lori Kerans of Millikin shared the "Coach of the Year" honor.
