BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Four Illinois Wesleyan football players were chosen to the two College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin all-league squads selected by league coaches.
Wide receiver Eric White was a repeater on the first team, joined by defensive back Josh Addis.
On the all-CCIW second team are junior offensive lineman Tom Mikolajczyk and sophomore linebacker Damon Banks.
The Titans finished 3-4 in CCIW play, tied for fifth, and were 5-5 overall.
First Team All-Conference
White, a junior from Antioch (HS), was twice selected as the CCIW's "Offensive Player of the Week" in 2003. He finished second in league games in both catches per game (6.57) and receiving yards per game (103.3). For the entire season he set a new IWU season record with 1215 receiving yards and ranks third all-time at the school in receptions (171) and receiving yards (2591), second in receiving touchdowns (28), and fourth in points (170).
Addis, a senior free safety from Essex (Reed-Custer HS), led the conference with 84 total tackles in league play. He was also fifth in the CCIW with a 5.0 punt return average.
Second Team All-Conference
Mikolajczyk (Glencoe, New Trier HS) helped an offense that averaged 321 yards per game and 23.9 points per game.
Banks (Bellwood, Walther Lutheran HS) was ninth in the league with 59 total tackles, including 22 solo with one quarterback sack.
