BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -Illinois Wesleyan University senior Beth Crowley has been named "Player of the Year" for volleyball in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while two of her teammates also earned all-league notice.
Senior Brette Bower joins Crowley as a first team selection and sophomore Molly May was named to the second team in voting done by league coaches.
In other league honors, IWU's Kim Nelson-Brown was chosen "Coach of the Year" and Carthage's Tiffany Thorsell was tabbed as the league's "Newcomer of the Year."
