"Mourn With Art" A "Mourn With Art" event was held Thursday, September 13th. A large group of students gathered in the Main Lounge of the Memorial Student Center and listened to each other and the faculty in an open mic forum. There was folk music, classical music, recited poetry, improvisational performance poetry, and multicultural prayer and storytelling. A large collaborative visual art piece was created with the theme of nonviolent reaction. This art piece is being publicly displayed outside of the Joyce Eichhorn Ames School of Art.
