Event: Illinois Wesleyan University School of Music presents the Percussion Ensemble

Admission: Free and open to the public
Background: The IWU Percussion Ensemble will open the performance with Three Brothers by Michael Colgrass. The program will also include Fanfare for Double Trio by William Kraft, Field of the Dead by Serge Prokofiev arr. Richard Gipson, Conga de Comparsa, a traditional percussion piece, Quiet by David Macbride, and finally Portico by Tom Guager. Solos will be performed by Brian Baxter, a sophomore from Geneva, Ill, and Stephanie Lyon, a sophomore from Byron, Ill.
The IWU Percussion Ensemble includes James Ball, Brian Baxter, Daniel Garrette, James Hornor, Stephanie Lyon, Brad Meyer, Elizabeth Tuazon, Zach Walz, and Josh Ziemann.
