Event: Blue Moon Coffeehouse to host Willy Porter on a return engagement to Illinois Wesleyan University

Admission: Free and open to the public.

Background: Singer-songwriter Willy Porter grew up in Milwaukee, Wis. He started his musical career playing the viola, but was drawn to the guitar after hearing Leo Kottkes 6 & 12 String Guitar record. Porter, who has now been making records for more than 13 years, plays with a combination of folk, rock, and pop.
Porter will be performing songs from his different albums, such as Dog Eared Dream, Trees Have Soul, Falling Forward, Willy Porter, and his latest record, High Wire Live.
According to RollingStone.com, Porters music is Rhythmic, groovy folk from a singer-songwriter as adept with his guitar as he is with his pen.
