Background: Brought to Illinois Wesleyan University by the African Students Association, the chapel program will be led in observance of the fourth annual African Culture Week by Agbenyega Adedze, professor of history at Illinois State University.
The African Students Association, established in 2000, is an organization committed to providing a support group for African students at Illinois Wesleyan. The group seeks to provide awareness of issues affecting the African continent while concurrently providing accurate representations of Africa and her people.
