Event: Illinois Wesleyan School of Music presents: Fall Choral Concert

Westbrook Auditorium, Presser Hall, 1210 Park St., Bloomington

Admission: Free and open to the public

Background: The IWU Collegiate Choir, University Choir, and Chamber Singers will perform under the direction of J. Scott Ferguson, associate professor of music and director of choral activities. The following works and composers will be featured:

University Choir: Canite tuba, G.P. da Palenstrina; Our Father, Alexander Gretchaninoff; “Suite” de Lorca Op. 72, Einojuhani Rautavaara; Valiant-for truth, R.V. Williams; Domaredansen, Swedish Folksong, Arr. Bengt Hallberg

Chamber Singers: Haec dies, William Byrd; Lobet den Herrn, J.S. Bach

Collegiate Choir: Or sus, serviteurs du seigneur, Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck; Ave verum corpus, William Byrd; Song of Cherubin, Krzysztof Penderecki; Reggel, György Ligeti; Morning Prayer, Ben Allaway; Whispers, William Byrd/Stephen Stucky; In Praise of Appolo, Dominick Argento
