Event: Organist Doris Simpson Hill to perform at Illinois Wesleyan University

Background: Doris Simpson Hill, IWU alum class of 1958, has performed on organ, piano, and harpsichord for a number of different community recitals. She has also performed as a soloist for choral tours throughout the Midwest, England, Scotland, and Wales.

Hill will begin her program with Fantasia and Fugue in G Minor by J.S. Bach. She will continue with Charles Marie Widor’s Symphony No. 5, and conclude with Julius Reubke’s The 94th Psalm Sonata for Organ.
