“For All the Saints”: A Service in Honor of the Persecuted Church

Background: The “Service in Honor of the Persecuted Church” will be led by George Kalantzis, associate professor of the history of Christianity and director of educational technologies, Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, Evanston, Ill.

An Athenian-born Greek Protestant, Kalantzis has extensive experience as an evangelical member of an “outsider’s church” in Greek society. His academic work focuses on the interrelation of written texts and their interpretation in early Christianity.

Kalantzis holds degrees from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary (M.Th.S.) and Northwestern University (Ph.D.), as well as a degree from Moody Bible Institute.
