Background: The celebration of Holy Communion will be held by Master of Divinity Rev. Jennie Bertrand, associate pastor at Calvary United Methodist Church, Normal.

The Methodist Holy Communion is a celebration in which communicants receive bread as a symbol of nourishment from the Holy Spirit. Holy Communion is Eucharist, meaning an act of giving thanks, during which communicants reflect and thank God for all the blessings they have received during the past year.
