Event: University Chapel Hour and Special Events presents: A Family Day Service, “It Takes a Whole Family to Get Through IWU.”

Date: Sept. 12 (Sunday)

Time: 10 a.m.

Location: Evelyn Chapel, 1301 N. Park St., Bloomington

Admission: Free and open to the public

Background: Students and their families are encouraged to attend a Family Day chapel service. Held in conjunction with Fall Family Weekend 2004, the service will feature readings by IWU students who will explore the topic, “It takes a whole family to get through IWU.”

Ashley Whittington class of ’06 from Palatine, Ill., special events commissioner of Student Senate, and Student Senate Vice President Hsienjan Huang class of ’05 from Libertyville, Ill., are among the presenters.

In addition, Daniel Monge class of ’06 from Naperville, Ill., will be featured on the French horn, and tenors Justin Barnish class of ’06 from Downers Grove, Ill., and Michael McHugh class of ’05 from Glenview Ill., will perform.
