Volunteer
Opportunities Fall 2011
Bent
Elementary School
Several bilingual teachers at Bent School would be more than happy to
work with a SDP Spanish major in their classroom this fall (or entire
year). Possible hours are below (you don't have to go every day). For
example if only one day of the week worked in your schedule, I am sure
the teacher would appreciate that contact.
Kindergarten
12:30-2 (M-W)
First
9:00-11:30 (M-TH)
Third
11:00-12:00 (T/Th)

Bent
Elementary School PTO
The Bent PTO is looking for a
group of students to provide child care during the PTO meetings for the
Spanish speaking community (generally from 7:00-8:00 PM, not sure of
the day in the month). This commitment would be once/month, probably
two students who volunteer each time and those students could vary each
month. For this event we would need 1 person in charge of scheduling
the volunteers for any given month. Also, Bent PTO will make a donation
to SDP (or really any campus group you choose) on your behalf.
