Academic:
1. Attend a 15 minute oral presentation of a Spn 403 student and evaluate, in Spanish, the student's performance.
Available dates 10/13, 10/18, 10/20 (all at 9:25am in Buck 002, for 20 minutes).
***Email me if you plan to attend.***
Write two-three paragraphs in Spanish: 1) summarize the content of the presentation, 2) address the clarity with which main points were expressed, 3) address the usefulness of the PowerPoint presentation (if used), 4) your opinion on the information conveyed (you need to have an opinion, and you can’t say you didn’t understand anything) and effectiveness of the presentation in general.

2. Write a profile for the Department of Hispanic Studies newsletter
Consider this if writing newsletter type of narrative comes easily to you.  This will require an interview in English with a person I choose, asking interesting and relevant questions, taking a digital photo and writing the 500-1000 word profile in both English and Spanish.
***Email me if you are interested. ***

Extra-curricular activities:
For credit you must
write a two paragraph report in Spanish. First paragraph includes a description of event and the second paragraph includes your opinion of the event. Remember, a paragraph contains 4-5 sentences.
