How to make accents

Based on the conversation you had with your partner write a descriptive essay about them.

1)
First draft. Turn in your first draft at the end of the class period.
First paragraph:
• Does your first paragraph have an introduction? Can the reader understand what you're writing about without knowing about the person?
• Does the last sentence of your first paragraph state the main focus of your essay? It could be as simple as "Joe is a really interesting person." You'll have to backup that focus with details in the body of the essay.
Second/Third paragraphs:
List three or four things that you learned about your partner in class today. Does your essay have specific details that support the theme of your essay?
Last paragraph:
• Does your essay have a conclusion that gives the reader the overall or general statement of your new acquaintence?

2) Check sheet for revised essay
