-Based on the conversation you had with your partner write a descriptive essay about them.

1) First draft.

First paragraph: 

• Does your first paragraph have an introduction? Can the reader understand what you're writing about without knowing about the person?
• Does the last sentence of your first paragraph state the main focus of your essay? It could be as simple as "Joe is a really interesting person." You'll have to backup that focus with details in the body of the essay.

Second/Third paragraphs:

• List three or four things that you learned about your partner in class today. Does your essay have specific details

Last paragraph:

• Does your essay have a conclusion that gives the reader the overall or general statement of your new acquaintence?

2) Check sheet for revised essay. Make sure to include your 1st draft with my comments along with the final draft.

_____ Include on one line on top left of the page, your name and assignment name (Ensayo #1).
_____ Type using Times New Roman 12 point font, double-space, 1" margins.
_____ 1 page with typed accents, tildes, and punctuation.
_____ Incorporate a relevant and concise title.
_____ Underline 5 uses of ser or estar.
_____ Use MLA style to cite your partner. Make sure you head the references section with "Bibliografí­a" (no need to include on a separate sheet of paper).
