Oral Exam 1
Format: This will
be a one
on one interview with me in my office. The first part of the exam
will consist of a warm up period, in which I ask you the same types of
questions as we practiced in class. This will be followed by the
interview.
Of the possible topics, you will randomly choose one (I'll have them
written
on notecards and facing flat down on my desk). You will have
several minutes to gather your thoughts after which we will have a
conversation
on the chosen topic.
Possible questions:
-p. 23 Haz una comparación entre ti y otra persona de tu edad. ¿En qué se parecen? ¿En qué se diferencian? ¿A quién de tu familia te pareces? ¿por qué? ¿En qué se parecen? ¿En qué se diferencian?
-p. 23 ¿Qué recomiendas que haga una persona que siempre quiere ir a la moda? ¿Por qué?
-p. 23 ¿Qué sugieres que haga una persona que siempre mete la pata?¿Por qué?
-p. 42 ¿Es apropiado que un jefe rechace a una persona que tiene tatuajes y lleva pendientes si esa persona está capacitada para hacer el trabajo? Explica tu respuesta.
-p. 50 ¿Qué recomiendas que hagan los padres para tratar igual a todos sus hijos?
-p. 50 ¿Qué recomiendas que hagan los padres divorciados para mantener sus relaciones con sus hijos? ¿Qué problemas puede haber entre hermanastros?
Examen Parcial
Format will follow that of the workbook that accompanies the text. The content will be:
- Chapters 1-3 from the text and
- Chapters 1-4 from Reading Quides of La aventura de Miguel Littín clandestino en Chile
Presentación Oral
Presentaciones orales/informes escritos sobre tapas de España: En grupos de cuatro personas, van a presentar la información sobre este tema. Cada estudiante presentará una parte de la información. La intervención de cada estudiante debe ser de 2 minutos máximo. Cada estudiante puede tener notas breves con datos específicos, pero tiene que presentar la información sin leer. También pueden tener 'props' para ayudar el entendimiento de su presentación. Más creativa que sea la presentación, mejor!
Special note: the class will write down comments based on creativity, comprehensibility, and if any information was learned. These will then be turned into me and I'll use them to figure out the presentation grade.
