 Accounting Leaders of Tomorrow 2010

 

Your junior and senior years' of high school are full of important decisions. You will take the first steps toward achieving your career goals by choosing a college and a major. Through the Accounting Leaders of Tomorrow Program Illinois Wesleyan University will provide you with information to help you make those decisions.

 

The Accounting Leaders of Tomorrow Program is geared towards high-achieving rising juniors and seniors from Chicago and Detroit area high schools who are interested in exploring careers in accounting and business. The program also provides students the opportunity to experience college life on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois. This exciting week-long program will take place June 13th through June 19th, 2010.

 
The program provides you with an opportunity to learn about different career opportunities in accounting and business through on site visits to organizations like State Farm Insurance and Caterpillar Inc.  Business professionals at these companies and visitors to campus will share their experiences and expertise with you.
In addition to exploring career opportunities in accounting and business, you will participate in a week long business simulation, attend workshops on applying to college, securing financial aid, managing your time, writing resumes, and succeeding in business. The program will allow you to experience life in a residence hall, visit campus cultural centers and  gain insight from current college students.

Room, board, transportation, and program fees will be covered.  You will only need to provide personal spending money.
