10 a.m., Atrium, Center for Natural Science — SPLICE Poster Session — The STEM Program for Leadership, Inquiry, and Campus Engagement (SPLICE) welcomes all IWU students conducting summer research or internships to participate in a poster session. The session is an informal gathering of minds to showcase the plethora of work our IWU students are involved with to incoming IWU students (the SPLICE scholars). It's also an opportunity for the campus community to gather in fellowship and discussion during these summer months. Students should feel free to use existing/past posters or visual aids to discuss their work. Works-in-progress are welcome! We invite presenters from all disciplines to participate.

Summer Camps

Summer camps continue this summer, with several groups scheduled to arrive over the next few weeks. In particular, Conference Services would like to call your attention to the wrestling camp arriving at the end of June. Though actual counts may change, current projections for this group sit at approximately 1,000 overnight participants and 1,400 diners. The group begins check-in the evening of Monday, June 26, with meals beginning at dinner on Tuesday, June 27, and ending at lunch on Friday, June 30. Sodexo will send more information about dining closer to that time. The wrestling camp will utilize the Shirk Center, Memorial Center dining facilities, outdoor areas near the Eckley Quadrangle, and nearly all residence halls and fraternity houses. Conference Services thanks you for your patience that week and invites you to join us in welcoming this large group to IWU!
