Dakesa Piña Selected as IWU’s First DEI Leader

Dakesa Piña has been selected to serve as Illinois Wesleyan University’s inaugural Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, effective July 1.

Three New Majors Added for 2023-24

Three new courses of study will be available to Illinois Wesleyan University students beginning in the fall of 2023 — public health, quantitative finance and professional sales.

Amelia Marino '18 has been named Head Women's Track and Field Coach at Illinois Wesleyan. A four-year letter winner for the Titans from 2015 until 2018, Marino is one of the most decorated student-athletes in program history. To this day, she remains the program record holder for both indoor and outdoor long jump.

Summer Programs

 

This summer, Conference Services will again welcome thousands of guests to campus through summer camps and conferences programs. Clients utilize multiple areas throughout campus including residence halls, fraternity houses, Bertholf Commons, Memorial Center, Hansen Student Center, Center for Natural Sciences, State Farm Hall, Evelyn Chapel, Presser Hall and the quadrangle. Events range from a large wrestling camp (June 27-30) to youth leadership programs (early June) to wedding ceremonies and receptions (most weekends). Please contact Conference Services regarding any overnight camps or non-IWU events at [conferences@iwu.edu] or 309-556-3100. While overnight guests are on campus, the Conference Services office is open from 7 a.m. to midnight daily.
