Lincoln Land Community College and Illinois Wesleyan Announce Guaranteed Admissions Agreement

Lincoln Land Community College and Illinois Wesleyan University have adopted a Guaranteed Admissions Agreement that will ease the process for students transferring and completing a bachelor's degree at IWU.

Mohan Hopeful to Advance Green Chemistry Practices With Third Fulbright Trip to India

Wendell and Loretta Hess Professor of Chemistry Ram Mohan has been named a Fulbright Scholar for the third time, allowing him to teach and conduct research in Bangalore, India, during the spring and summer of 2024. 

Students Network with Major Finance Firms in Chicago and St. Louis

During the spring semester, members of two registered student organizations at Illinois Wesleyan University had the opportunity to network with professionals at top-tier finance firms during trips to Chicago and St. Louis.

During the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship in Indianapolis on May 19, the women's track and field team saw Lauren Wong '24 and Adriana Crabtree '26 qualify for the national championship event in Rochester, New York, on May 25-27.

 

The Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team tied for ninth in the NCAA Division III Championship – the program's ninth top-10 finish – and

Bobby Beaubien '24 finished in the top six individually, with a four-round total that set a Titan record.

As a senior process engineer with ASM, Kimberly (Branshaw) Shafi '95 spoke on a STEM-focused panel on March 22 titled "Women in Semiconductor Engineering."

New Personnel

 

Shari Rich has been selected to serve as the new Director of Academic Advising. Shari has 30 years of experience providing leadership in student affairs, student success and academic affairs offices on five different college campuses. Most recently, she served for 17 years in a variety of leadership positions at Eureka College including: Associate Dean of Students/Director of Applied Learning; Associate Dean of Student Activities, Leadership, and Service; Interim Dean of Students; First Year Success Seminar Coordinator; Program Coordinator of the Organizational Leadership Degree Program; and Director of Career Services. Shari will complete her doctor of education degree in higher education leadership from Wilmington University this summer, and holds a master of science degree in college student personnel and a bachelor of science degree in psychology, both from Western Illinois University.
