Bryan McCannon '98 Named Director of New School of Business and Economics

Effective July 1, Bryan C. McCannon '98 will be the director of Illinois Wesleyan University’s newly formed School of Business and Economics, a program he said stands out among other business schools in the country due to the commitment toward a well-rounded, liberal arts education.

Carle Health Partners with Illinois Wesleyan on Student Health Services

Carle Health is assuming responsibility for the clinical management and day-to-day operations of Arnold Health Services at Illinois Wesleyan, in a move that both organizations hope will enhance the students’ access to healthcare.

Through April 8, Merwin and Wakeley Galleries, Joyce Eichhorn Ames School of Art and Design Building — 36th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition and BFA/BA Exhibitions — All aspects of the IWU art program will be represented: painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, graphic design, ceramics, sculpture and glass. This year's exhibition was juried by Santiago Cal, a sculptor from Lincoln, Nebraska. In the Senior Art Exhibit, graduating BFA/BAs will display their finest works produced during their senior year. Find more information and gallery hours here.

We seek to provide a venue for asking meaningful questions – including questions about who we are and what we are for. All are invited to our weekly gatherings to meet our Multifaith Ambassadors and enjoy refreshments provided.

Menah Pratt-Clarke, a founding member of the Pratt Music Foundation which provides scholarships for lessons at Illinois Wesleyan University's Music Preparatory Program, was honored as one of the top 50 women leaders of Virginia for 2023. She is vice president of strategic affairs and diversity and full professor of education at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Wellness Corner

  • Yoga takes place on Mondays and Thursdays in the Niepagen South Classroom with Rhendy Bradshaw at the Shirk Center from 12:15 - 12:55 p.m.
