Mapping Tools

Whether you're planning an excursion, getting driving directions or
remapping Europe after the fall of the Soviet Union, you'll find some
fascinating and incredibly efficient tools available on your computers
or mobile devices. Join Rick and Patrick as they re-visit this topic for
their November Show and Tell.
Most modern smartphones and digital cameras now allow you to sort your
pictures by location on a map. Bring your laptops, mobile devices and
cameras to the Davidson Room on Tuesday at noon and try it out for
yourself.

Lane Closure
Due to water main work related to construction of The Gates,
Empire Street has been reduced to one lane between Evans and McLean
Street; the north side of the intersections at Evans and McLean will be
closed through Monday, Dec. 3.

Cell Phone Recycling for Charities
Normal Gadgets in Bloomington has teamed up with Countering Domestic Violence/Neville House and Cell Phones For Soldiers to accept gently used and broken cell phones as donations.
By donating to Normal Gadgets, Twin City residents
can provide safe, accessible phones for those in need and for troops
that want the precious connection to loved ones back home. Residents can
donate their phones to Normal Gadgets at
2103 North Veterans Parkway, Suite 112, Bloomington.
Phones and components that cannot be refurbished are dismantled and responsibly recycled to reclaim materials.
