Marcia K. McDonald's is currently serving as an associate professor of Costume Design at Illinois Wesleyan University.

Ms. McDonald’s design work has been seen on the New York stage, as well as many regional venues.  Her professional credits include: on Broadway, CYRANO the Musical with Yan Tax (Tony Nomination - Best Costumes), ShogunCat on a Hot Tin Roof, The 25th Anniversary revival production of Fiddler on the Roof, and Dangerous Games by Graciella Danielle, with Patricia Zipprodt, Three Men And a Horse, On the Waterfront , and Dream with Ann Hould-Ward as well as In the Summerhouse at Lincoln Center.  Off Broadway credits include, Camping with Henry and Tom, Marat Sade, Post Punk Life, and The Merry Wives of Windsor directed by Daniel Sullivan, at the Dellacorte Theatre in Central Park in New York City. 

Ms. McDonald has also designed the costumes for many regional theatres including the Illinois Shakespeare Festival’s production of Hamlet directed by Michael Halberstam as well as the Atlantic Theatre Company’s production of The Tempest and The Cherry Orchard directed by Michael Langham.  Ms. McDonald was also the Design Associate for the New York City Ballet's production of Sleeping Beauty, directed and choreographed by Peter Martins.
