Erin Bierstedt is entering her first year of graduate school at Illinois State University and serving as a certified graduate assistant athletic trainer with IWU. Originally from Norwood, MN, Erin graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2008 with a degree in Athletic Training. Her previous experience working as a student athletic trainer at Minnesota State University includes working with the women’s soccer, baseball, football, and wrestling teams. As an undergraduate, she also volunteered her time at the Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinic Back Care Center working with patients with back conditions and the Fit-For-Golf program. While at IWU, Erin will be working with cross country, tennis, golf, and women’s basketball.
In her time off, Erin enjoys spending weekends at her family’s cabin in northern Minnesota, hanging out with friends, playing most sports, and traveling.
