Duties: Preside at meetings in absence of President, assume presidential duties if president resigns/ is removed, serve on the Judiciary Committee, assist the president, serve on the CRC, supervise the SAC, chair the Survey/ Calendar Committee, act as special interest group liaison, etc.

Bio: Kent from Huntley, IL is a Economics Major with minors in Mathematics and Risk Management. Kent was elected to the Student Senate in Fall of 2012. Kent was then elected by the Senate to sit on the Financial Advisory Board (FAB) and was appointed to the position Assistant Treasurer. Then he was elected to his current position of Vice President. Kent has worked with different RSO’s to help them understand Senate Funding. As Assistant Treasurer Kent has also started a filing system that will help future FAB members to see what decisions previous FAB’s have made and what their rational was behind the decisions.Kent has prepared for this leadership role through many different events such as Principled Business Leaders Institution, and McLean County Chamber of Commerce Professional Forum. Kent has held leadership roles previously for organizations such as AKPsi (Vice President) and Economics Society (President). Also Kent has worked with the Alumni Center and was a part of the time capsule committee.
