Ky Ajayi has long roots in Bloomington-Normal, having lived in Bloomington since 1997, obtaining his master's degree in Political Science from Illinois State University.  Ky's master's thesis was on military intervention in Nigerian politics and his love for International and African politics is reflected in his teaching interests. 

At Illinois State University he has taught African Politics, Global Issues, Politics of the Middle East, Introduction to International Relations, and Quantitative Reasoning.  At Illinois Wesleyan University he will be teaching Politics of Developing Nations, Politics of Conflict Areas, and Introduction to International Politics.
