Narendra K. Jaggi, Ph.D.Chair of Physics DepartmentProfessor of PhysicsB.Sc. (Hons.), Ranchi University, Ph.D., University of Mumbai
A materials physicist by training, Professor Jaggi is the Chair of the Physics Department at Illinois Wesleyan University, where he currently teaches physics, and conducts research in the following areas. (1) Possible signatures of extra spatial dimensionality (four and above) by measuring and analyzing electrical properties of hypercubic networks of lumped electronic elements. (2) Use of Mathematica as an integrated and distributed tool in the undergraduate physics curriculum. (3) Use of Field Programmable Gate Arrays for designing flexible precision timing circuits for physics experiments.
Recently, he has also started collaborating with Professor Linda French on the analysis of her group's data on rotational properties of Trojan Asteroids. To learn more about him, you can visit his website at: http://www.iwu.edu/~njaggi/ |
