Qing Ding '13

Qing Ding, from China, was named the recipient of the Scott-Anderson Award for 2012-13, the highest student honor given by the department. 

Working with Janak Thapa and Prof. Gabe Spalding, he studied coulomb blockade effects in mesoscopic electronic devices  He presented this work as a poster at the  John Wesley Powell Conference, April 2012. Click here to see the abstract of his paper.

Working with Prof. Narendra Jaggi, he is designing an experiment to introduce nonlinear physics to sophomores.
