The Gates at Wesleyan and East Street Apartments provide residential living options that combine the best of campus housing with a developing independence.  Reserved for juniors and seniors at IWU, apartment-style housing options can be paired with the Block 75 commuter meal plan to maintain convenient access to campus dining services, such as the recently renovated Dug Out, Tommy's Grille and the Bertholf Commons.

Fun in residenceStudents are able to sign leases for apartment-style housing in September and October of the year for the next Fall, in line with other leasing cycles common to the Bloomington/Normal student housing market.  Information regarding the leasing process is provided online, and the process itself takes place through the MyHousing Portal located on the student tab of the my.iwu.edu housing portal.

Students in the Gates use a Facebook group for communication about community and facility concerns.  

When packing for move-in, this list is provided to help generate a complete brainstorm of things to bring along.  A list of amenities is also provided.

Questions about the provided cable package, move-in availability, mail and packages, and policies, as well as to other frequently asked questions, are answered here.
