Student Applicants

The TOL selection process consists of three stages: application, group interview, and individual interview. These application stages are described below. See our Frequently Asked Questions for additional information.

Stage 1: Application process

Interested students will complete an application to allow the selection committee to learn a little bit about each applicant prior to interviews. Online applications will be live beginning on Tuesday, January 10, 2012. The deadline for applications will be at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2012. Stage 2: Group Interview

Titan Orientation Leader applicants must complete a group interview in which the Orientation Services Staff will observe how the individuals interact in groups. Group Interviews will be 60-minutes in length. Interviews will be scheduled by applicants after submitting their application. Group Interviews will be held at the following times:

  • Wednesday, February 1: 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM, 9:15 PM - 10:15 PM
  • Thursday, February 2: 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM, 9:15 PM - 10:15 PM
  • Wednesday, February 3: 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM, 9:15 PM - 10:15 PM

Following the Group Interview Round, the applicant pool will be narrowed down and remaining applicants will move forward to stage 3.

Stage 3: Individual Interview

Remaining TOL applicants must complete an individual interview with the Orientation Services Staff. Applicants who have advanced beyond the Group Interview stage will be contacted to sign up for an interview time. Interviews will be 15-minutes in length and scheduled per mutual availability of applicants and Orientation Services Staff during the following times:

  • Monday, February 13 - Saturday, February 18: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
