Major: Business Administration
Minor: Hispanic Studies

Peter graduated from Burlington Central High School in Elgin, IL before coming to Illinois Wesleyan. He decided to go to IWU because he was just comfortable on campus from the first time he visited. Peter could tell he would fit in well with the students there at the time as well as those that would be there when he would attend. Add in the great academics and all the ways to get involved on campus and it was a perfect fit. Peter is involved across campus with the Sigma Pi fraternity, Interfraternity Council Exec Board, Student Senate Financial Advisory Board, Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, and as the President of the Risk Management and Finance Society and a Titan Orientation Leader. He usually likes to spend his free time hanging out with friends. Whether it is sitting out on the quad when the weather is nice, grabbing food at the dugout, or just chilling in someone's room, spending quality time with friends is the thing years from now that will be remembered. Peter's favorite memory of Turning Titan Orientation was just being at college and getting to meet people from so many different places and backgrounds. There are people he met the first day or two that he is really good friends with which is pretty cool. Oh, and the hypnotist. That was awesome!

Peter's advice for new students:
Be willing to try new things. While college is a new and exciting adventure, it can be nerve-wracking and downright scary at some points and you may want to just sit in your room and take the safe route all the time. Go out and try new things and meet new people and never say never. I have so many different interests now than I did when I started at IWU just because I realized part way into my freshman year that it flies by and you don't want to miss any opportunity.
